Artist in Residence: Sarah Finkle
Sarah Finkle is a Brooklyn-based fiber artist from Upstate New York with a background in textiles and sculpture. She uses a hand-crochet technique (no hooks or needles!) to create interactive fiber installations and set designs for productions including Chatroom (2015) and The Shapes We Make with Our Bodies (2017). Sarah works with local farms to source her fibers and reuses yarns from one project to the next. During her residency, Sarah will create site specific works using Eileen Fisher recycled materials and garments. On November 3rd, she will also lead a Sculptural Crochet workshop. Stop by to meet Sarah and join us for her workshop.
